It is no surprise we love antique shopping and incorporating vintage pieces into our home. Antique shopping might be our favorite day time activity… but of course it is not always easy leaving the house with 3 kids in tow to go search in town for the perfect piece, so in today’s post I am not only sharing my favorite antique shops in NE Florida but also my favorite places to shop online.
From the start of Laine and Layne, we have always shared our love and passion for antique pieces and the soul and character they instantly add to any home. When we launched Laine and Layne back in 2015, we launched as a curated online shop full of vintage and found items- that is when we met so many of you! We even participated in some local vintage markets which we loved doing and hope to do again some day!
First, let’s talk vocabulary for a minute and the difference between something antique, vintage, and found. This will help you when you are shopping online for a specific item and also will help when searching key words…
Antique : A collectible object having high value because of considerable age
Vintage : Something that is 20 years or older
Found : A discovered object that possesses a certain aesthetic quality
