Labor Day Weekend always marks the last bit of summer for us and the start of our favorite time of year- the BER months, September-December. While summer has notably been deemed outdoor season, fall is when outdoor season really begins for us down here in Florida, because the summer heat and humidity, and mosquitos just aren’t our jam.
Get the Look
Last week we put together our firepit area to enjoy as the temps start to dip a bit more in the evenings. While I hope you all are enjoying and resting this long weekend, I wanted to share a few things that will help ready your space to be the most enjoyable and cozy this fall season.
01 String Lights
String lights instantly add a certain ambiance and cozy feel to any outdoor space. Be sure to hang them with a cable kit so they are extra study. You can shop out string lights here.
02 Lanters & Lamps
I love incorporating lanterns and battery powered lights like this little table lamp and flameless candles, to create a cozy glow around the sitting area. I’m all for making the outdoors feel like a natural extension of the indoors.
03 A Cozy Sectional for the Entire Family
If you remember what this space looked like before, we use to have a loveseat and the kids would always want to sit there… now, there is enough room for all 5 of us with this 4-piece sectional! We also swapped out our cushions for the petite stripe and I love the subtle pattern it adds out here.
04 Throws & Pillows
Don’t forget to add throws and pillows to keep cozy on the cooler nights.
05 Firepit
One investment the entire family will enjoy regardless of if it is 90º outside or 50º! And yes, we totally roast s’mores over this firepit even thought technically you aren’t suppose to.
Happy Labor Day Weekend, friends! I will be sharing an August recap and update on our build tomorrow. Cannot believe we are saying goodbye to August and hello to September!
