I had planned on styling the front porch area at my parents’ pole barn which is where we are going to be living once our home sells, but I thought, since we are still in our home, why not style it for fall one last time. It feels bittersweet for sure, but I am thankful we get to enjoy this space for a little bit longer.
Get the Look
Our temps are still in the upper 80s so I decided to use a faux Maple tree and pumpkins this year (ok, 2 pumpkins ARE real), but how good are these faux pumpkins?!
For the last few years, I have always made a foraged wreath for the front door but with people coming in and out of the house for showings and for a more practical solution, I used my favorite faux branches and a grapevine wreath to create this wreath this year!
I have shared this over the years, but when styling with faux branches, I always use bolt and wire cutters to cut the stems down to size so I can arrange them more organically either in a vase or on this wreath. I attached the branches to the wreath with small brown zip ties! It honestly took about 10 minutes total and I love how it turned out!
I love these woven pumpkins and the sweet little warm lights in them… adds the perfect seasonal charm to our porch!
I love the seasonal colors of these faux pumpkins and gourds. Also love that I will be able to use them next fall season as well!
I completed the look with a modern rope doormat and I love how the black stripes tie in to the black elements on our exterior.
I have been wearing this shirt and these pants on repeat… shop my shirt here and you can use code LAINEANDLAYNE10 for 10% off of your order!
