Each year around the holidays I choose a word to be the foundation of the season’s inspiration. In 2022 that word was Nostalgia, last year it was Cozy Merriment, and this year it’s TRADITION… like replicating this photo of August by the tree year after year to reflect on just how quickly time moves by.

The classic reds and greens, along with tinsel and ribbons, felt warm and nostalgic this holiday season and fitting along with our word, Tradition.
You can see this same photo the last 3 years here. She was so sweet helping me decorate the tree this year. She did so great with placing the ornaments gently on the tree and after hanging every one she would ask “is this good?”. I hope she will always let me take this photo of her every year… it has become a tradition I look forward to every year when the tree goes up.
Christmas family traditions have a way of making the holiday season full of warmth and meaning, creating a sense of connection with your family. Whether it’s as simple as decorating the tree together, baking cookies, or enjoying a specific meal every Christmas Eve, these traditions weave lasting memories through the years and remind us of what makes the holidays so special with the feeling of togetherness. And as families grow or change, old traditions are cherished while new ones are welcomed. These cherished traditions help us celebrate both the past and the present, ensuring that the magic of Christmas lives on for generations to come.
Below I am sharing some of our favorite Christmas Traditions that we look forward to every year.
This is the advent puzzle we chose to do this Christmas. You can see more of our Christmas decor and favorites over in our Christmas Shop.
