“Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” In all serious though, this color block quilt is the softest quilt we own. It is also reversible with the other side being a bit more colorful, but I love the simple muted tones on the lighter side seen here.

Quick story… soon after Justin and I got married, we would go in and shop at our local West Elm all of the time… like almost every weekend. Our entire home was West Elm- furniture, pillows, rugs, art, bedding… one year, we purchased this specific quilt and shams that quickly became my favorite bedding because it was so incredibly soft. It was 100% cotton and had a lightweight batting that made it not heavy at all and breathable. I held onto that quilt for over ten years… we finally got rid of it last year I believe because it had a hole in it that just kept getting bigger and I was so bummed. Ok, quick story turned long, but saying all of this to say this quilt feels JUST like that West Elm quilt. It is 100% cotton, lightweight, and so cozy soft especially this time of year when the temps are warming up.
Pretty Cosmos and Yarrow from the garden… if you don’t have access to fresh Cosmos, here is a link to artificial ones that look pretty realistic!
Here’s a view at the other side of our bedroom- I love bringing in fresh greenery clipped from our Crepe Myrtle and Olive Trees this time of year.
This dresser has been so great for additional storage, especially while we have been updating our closet/laundry!
