Our first post of 2022, and possibly one of our most recently requested. If you’re anything like us, this is the time you are looking for fresh inspiration to imagine all of the possibilities going into this new year. Books are one of our favorite places to turn to for inspiration, so today we are rounding up our favorites! Not only are the covers of these books beautiful, the inside pages are equally as inspiring- every time I open one of them up, I find something new. I hope you find some you love too!
Feels Like Home : This is Lauren Liess newest book, I own all 3 of her books and this one is hands down the best one yet- full of so much inspiration for creating an authentic home. Number 12 is her second book which I love as well!
Made For Living : My go to for color and texture inspiration! This is one of those books that you will find something inspiring every time you open it.
UPSTATE : I just received this book for Christmas, and have been loving it! Something about it’s lived in spaces, rustic but modern, with a nod to the old and appreciation for the new. A must have!
Portraits of Home : This book is a larger size and a has a beautiful linen cover. DISC Interiors always creates beautiful and unique spaces with unexpected fun that fills the pages of this book!
Golden Light : This is another good size book with a beautiful linen cover. This book is full of juxtaposition and elegant design.
Live Beautiful : This book is a beautiful collection of curated interiors all with a guide to creating a home that is thoughtfully put together.
A Place To Call Home : I recently shared a few pages of this book in Instagram stories and received so much feedback asking what book it was. With interiors from all of the states, this book is perfect for traditional American home inspiration.
Pacific Natural At Home : by Jenni Kayne, this book is filled with beautiful neutral and natural home inspiration.
STILL : Natalie Walton’s second book, this is another one that I find something new each time I open it up.
Houses | Atelier AM : This is another larger size book with a linen cover in a beautiful muted mustard color. “The projects in this volume show a deep understanding of design history–from Spanish Colonial and English Classicism to contemporary.”
This is Home : Natalie Walton’s first book, if you grab number 09, be sure to grab this one too!
Down to Earth : Lauren Liess second book, and again, full of so much authentic inspiration! Highly recommend this one and number 01.
If I had to choose my top three from the list above, I would choose number 01, 03, and 07.
I hope this roundup has been helpful and you can use it to find some new inspiration for this beautiful new year! Happy New Year, friends!
