Yesterday, we shared on our Instagram that we rearranged our living room again… if you saw our last living room post, this layout is our original layout. We love the last layout, and may end up going back to it at some point, but this layout is more intimate and feels cozy.
We also hadn’t shared our fireplace since Christmas, so I thought it would be a good time to share how we style this area for spring as well.

I’ve been thinking a lot about our home and how it is shared and conveyed on here and social media… my hope is that you can see and feel that we live well within our spaces. I am tired of everything looking so overly styled or like a specific designer’s work, or someone else’s home. Our homes are truly a reflection of us, and they should each be as unique as the people who dwell within them are.
We recently added this new rug in here- it has beautiful notes of blues, grays, beiges, and warm tones that compliment our wooden pieces so well. I love that it is neutral and light while having a subtle pattern and offering some depth. I also love the fringe detailing on the ends.

If something is not linked, it is most likely because it is vintage. I highly recommend shopping your local antique stores, Chairish, Vintage-Keepers, and 1stDibs for one of a kind pieces to add into your home.
