A Simple Master Bedroom Refresh

March 2, 2020

This post is sponsored by Magic Linen. All content and opinions are always our own. Thank you for allowing us to share the brands we love.

Remember this post of our bedroom? If you follow along on Instagram, we shared in stories a few months back that we decided to completely rearrange our bedroom. Our bed use to be on the feature tongue and groove wall, but after constantly trying to design around a window placed on that same wall, we decided to move our bed to the opposite wall so our bed could be centered in the room and we could finally have matching nightstands.

While we still have a lot of ideas for this room- a DIY fabric headboard, wall sconces, & possibly painting the walls… sometimes by adding fresh linens, some florals and inspiring artwork is all you need to make your room feel alive again.

We wanted to add some pattern into our room and fell in love with this linen duvet cover set, and how beautiful are those wooden buttons?

Paired with this linen and cotton blend waffle blanket which is the perfect lightweight blanket.

We hung this artwork which is by one of our favorite artists- Henri Cartier-Bresson, titled ‘Sunday on the Banks of Marne’, we loved the overall feeling of this photograph- carefree and simple-living.

Our parents had these White Oak nightstands custom made for us for Christmas and we absolutely love how perfect they are in this space. Not to mention, we have never had matching nightstands before, so these are just one step to making this room feel more complete.

I have been loving this linen tunic with pockets and know it will be a go-to piece this spring and summer!

Dried florals in a vintage ceramic vase, a handmade pedestal to hold matches, our favorite books, and candle all make the perfect bedside accessories.

We have found ourselves styling our bed more simply lately for a more casual feel.

We finished the look by adding one linen throw pillow in the center and love the subtle contrast it creates against the stripes.

Below, we rounded up our favorite linen goods from Magic Linen including bedding, kitchen and bath linens, clothing and more!
