Like any room in a home, we believe that it is best to slowly collect and curate meaningful pieces that bring you joy… as much time as we spend in our kitchens, I believe this to be especially true. Our kitchen counters and shelves are constantly evolving as we collect and add new (or old) pieces in, but each piece brings us joy and adds function.
Below we have curated a list of some of our favorite kitchen items we love and use day in and day out. Some are investment pieces with beautiful handmade quality, while others are budget-friendly. As with every space in our home, the juxtaposition of old and new will bring a timeless and unique feel to any kitchen.

You’ll notice in our favorite items above we love using unique oil holders, pinch bowls, tiny bowls and spoons for our salts and spices, and breadboards all corralled together on a marble pedestal for a cohesive and organized look. Quick tip : if you don’t want to invest in a vintage breadboard, try making your own for a similar look like we did here!
Adding personal touches like artwork, heirloom pottery, foraged branches, and candlelight creates a cozy environment and we promise makes those daily kitchen tasks a little bit sweeter 😉
We love this handmade tea light candle holder and the delicate flame it makes. Quick tip : place rocks like these polished river rocks in the bottom of your vases to help hold your stems and branches in place.
