Over the past couple of weeks- I have really been thinking about this holiday season and Christmas and the direction I want to go with ‘styling’ or tree and home. Overall, the word ‘family’ kept popping up in my mind over and over… wanting them all to be involved in how our home feels this holiday season. This may be the last Christmas in this home and I want the kids to remember it- their involvement creates lasting memories so instead of a perfectly styled home I want this year to be cozy with a nod to vintage and tradition. Think deep reds, plaids, patterns, quilted… below I am sharing a first look into this year’s holiday favorites!
These images of our tree are from last Christmas- August wasn’t even 2 yet and she helped place the ornaments with me which was something I am now looking forward to every year. Last year’s ‘theme’ was Nostalgia. You can see more of last year’s tree and mantel here.
Last year I painted some old ornaments white to better match the overall aesthetic and I love how they looked on our tree and used in a dough bowl for decoration.
Our Holiday/Winter Shop is launching on October 30th! Below is a little preview of what we have sourced for the shop!
