It’s been a while since we last shared our bedroom, and if you remember the bed was on the opposite wall- we decided to move things around in an effort to make the room flow better… Dare I say, we won’t be rearranging again 😉

Simple Steps to Layering an Autumn Bed

01 Start with a quality foundation, like Belgian Linen Sheets

Justin and I have tried a lot of linen bedding over the years, and these are by far the softest linen sheets with the best quality- they only get softer with every wash!

02 Next, layer in the Cloud Blanket

I love how this blanket is lightweight but adds an additional layer of texture and comfort.

03 Now, layer in a cozy handcrafted quilt

I love the neutral color of this quilt but that it still offers so much interest with it’s patterns. It has been so nice to cozy up with as the nights are growing colder.

04 Add in complementary accent pillows

I love how the ruffle pillow pairs with the quilt but adds a solid break in between the patterns to give your eyes a place to rest.

05 Finish with a final layer like the Toffee Linen Duvet Color

If you want something less heavy, just use the duvet cover without the insert! I love that it adds a little autumnal color to our bed without taking away from the quilt.

We foraged Goldenrod to place in a vase and styled it two ways- one on our nightstand and the other in our bedroom corner…

I love how warm and inviting foraged branches can make a room feel- even after the Goldenrod dries, it is still beautiful and the perfect fall touch!
