How is it already NYE?! If I am being honest, this last week (or year) flew by, and our Christmas tree is still up. But, I did manage to transition our mantel and this little area from Christmas to winter and below I am sharing three easy tips to help you make the transition too!
Get the Look
Tip 01 – Greenery
Greenery helps to make your space feel fresh while also not feeling bare after the holiday garlands and trees have been taken down. I love incorporating greenery in our home with the start of a new year… whether it’s dried or fresh from the nursery!
Tip 02 – Create a Dedicated Area for YOU
Whether it’s by the fireplace, or where your Christmas tree was, create a small area where you can rest, enjoy a cup of coffee and break open a book. I have really been enjoying this cozy armchair!
Tip 03 – Textured Throw
Feel like your space could use an extra layer? Keep warm with a heavy-textured knit throw this winter season. It’s fun to see how throw blankets change with the seasons and how they correspond with the furniture… soon enough we will be packing up the chunky-knits and wool throws and will have lightweight linen blankets for the warmer months.
Happy New Year, friends! This has been quite the year… a lot of ups and downs, trials and triumphs, and I am so excited for what 2023 holds! Thank you all for being here with us!
