Trees in baskets, old world lanterns, oversized bells, pinecones, and a metal log basket to hold our firewood all help to create that nostalgic feeling this Christmas season. Just like we did with our fireplace this year, we chose pieces this season that will easily transition from Christmas to winter.

Once Christmas has passed, we will remove these bells and pinecones and leave this faux Cedar wreath up.
These beautiful metal and wood lanterns will also stay out all season long.
I love how this metal log basket corresponds with the metal on the lanterns. If you saw this video, you know this log basket is being put to good use!
We also chose a natural doormat that can easily be used year round. I love to incorporate pieces throughout our home, outside and in, that feel festive but are still neutral and can be used after the holiday season.
We took this shot just as the sun dipped beneath the trees and I love the subtle glow of this Christmas tree. We added three stands of pinecone garland to the tree and used this oversized basket that will be put to good use after Christmas!
Justin & I both wanted to take a moment to tell you all how much we appreciate you and this community! Every one of you who reads our blog posts, likes or comments on our social media posts, or shares our home, it all truly means so much to us! We love y’all and hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
