It’s officially gathering season… not that we don’t have family and friends over year round, but this time of year feels extra special to host our loved ones for dinner. A warm, hearty meal and dessert with the windows open to feel the cool crisp air outside and a crackling fire inside.
Get the Look
I can’t believe it has already been an entire year since Justin finished building this hutch. If you missed it, he started with building the firewood holder console table and then after much thought he built the hutch to attach on top of the console. I couldn’t love it more- it is made of cedar and pine wood and I love having a place to keep our Heirloom Dinnerware.
I have hinted at wanting him to add a couple of drawers above the wood for flatware and linens… maybe one day 🙂
I love how many pieces are in this collection– from the dinnerware to the pitcher, tureen, serving bowl and serving trays.
I especially can’t wait to serve Butternut Squash soup or Chili in the tureen this year.
I love how all of the stoneware looks against the wood and with the beautiful etched glassware mixed in.
Have to say, as much as I love this collection styled on our hutch, I can’t wait to set the table this fall season and serve my family a delicious meal! We might even have a new table coming to better fit our family of 7.
