I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy and I am in full on nesting mode all of the sudden or what, but I have been wanting to refresh every room in our home… so, over the weekend, Justin and I rearranged our living room (you can see the old arrangement here) and tried out two different rugs!
You may remember this rug from our bedroom reveal a couple of months ago… I wanted to try it out in our living room for a contrasting look from the other rug which has a vintage-inspired feel to it…
This rug is from the same collection as the rug in our sunroom, just a different colorway with mossy greens, charcoals, and navy blues. Both rugs are by Loloi, and if you have been here for a little while, you know we love Loloi Rugs!
The ivory/oatmeal rug is 100% wool and one of the softest wool rugs we have owned… I love the modern pattern it has and the interest it adds to the space while being neutral and light.
This rug is a low-pile rug and wears very well in high traffic areas… we were almost debating adding this rug to our boys’ room since it’s perfect for spot cleaning and hiding messes.
We love both looks for different reasons… we love how the antique-inspired rug has a large but subtle pattern and corresponds nicely with our artwork while providing a functional option for a high traffic room in our home…
But, honestly, after trying the Oatmeal / Ivory rug in here on a whim, it really has our heart.

I absolutely love the oatmeal one better. I love it with the fall tones of the room. It goes better with your aesthetic in that room as well.
Agreed! There is just something so cozy about the oatmeal/ivory one!
