We also were inspired to try the garland a little bit differently this year and hang it from our rectangular vintage mirror instead of on the mantel like we did last year. You can click here to see one of last year’s holiday fireplace looks. The garland is a DIY from foraged Juniper branches from our yard.
We chose this artwork for this look and love how realistic the detailing is in this print- looks just like a real painting! We framed it in this inexpensive vintage-inspired frame to complete the look.
Since we have an addition to our family this Christmas (baby girl coming in December) we had to add a stocking and I fell in love with these wool knit stockings and ended up ordering 5 for the entire family! They are so cozy and full of texture, which I love.
On one side of the hearth, we added our go-to linen throw with an open book and some tea light candles.
On the other side, we incorporated our heirloom firewood holder with some fresh greenery and pine cones.
Speaking of pine cones, don’t forget to always incorporate little bits of nature into your designs for added character.
We also included a round up of some of our favorite neutral digital downloadable art from Collection Prints’ fall & winter collections.
