5 Quick Steps to Refresh Your Bathroom

Design, Shopping — April 21, 2020

Get the Look

We haven’t shared our master bathroom in a while and honestly, it was in need of a quick refresh! Today, we are sharing the simple steps we took to create a calm, clean, and functional bathroom.

This post is sponsored by Pottery Barn. All content and opinions are always our own. We are proud to be sharing their sustainable products that help make our environment a little bit better. Thank you for allowing us to share the brands we love to support.

Step 1 : Replace your worn towels

Update and replace your old and worn towels with sustainable 100% Organic Cotton Towels. Did you know that it is recommended your bath towels are replaced every 1-2 years or when they start to harbor an odor or musty smell? There are millions of skin cells and bacteria that can live on your old towels and unless you are constantly washing them with vinegar, bleach, or an antibacterial soap, they are not getting CLEAN. If you think you are in need of new bath towels, we can’t recommend these enough!

Step 2 : Add additional storage

Add storage with an oversized basket like this Beachcomber Basket that is handwoven from sustainable fibers. Whether you need extra linen storage, or a place to hold toiletries or dirty clothes- this basket is perfectly oversized to solve your storage solution!

Step 3 : Add comfort

Add a plush rug for comfort under your feet when standing at your vanity. This organic bath rug is made of 100% cotton.

Step 4 : Bring in scent

Add a matching set of hand soap, lotion, and scented candle for a uniform scent in your bathroom.

Step 5 : Artwork!

Bring in new artwork. Looking for a beautiful but affordable art solution? Be sure to check out Vintage Supply.

It was that simple to give this space a little refresh and we have already been enjoying it so much more!
