It seems like this day has been a long time coming! If you want to get caught up on our other Sunroom posts, the DIY Corner Bench, or what this space use to look like (a sad screened in porch), click here!

We installed two white linen Tilt My Smart Roller Shades in our Sunroom and they completely transformed and completed this space! The white linen has the prettiest texture and allows soft light to filter into the room creating a warm glow.

The shades are solar powered and controlled right from your phone- how amazing is that?! You can also schedule them to open and close when you want- we have ours scheduled to open at Sunrise and close at Sunset!

When we are in the sunroom, we love keeping this shade pulled down because it still allows soft light to fill the room but it also hides the view of our cars and shed that you can see directly through this window! If you remember, we have white linen curtains hanging on the other windows in this room but we couldn’t hang curtains above the bench so prior to installing these shades (which was super easy to do, check our Instagram stories) this window was looking quite unfinished.

Tilt also makes blackout shades, but as mentioned above, we wanted a shade that would still allow light to come in when closed. The white linen texture is so pretty!

We also added a gallery to space and love how it cozies up the room and adds a personal touch!

The art gallery is a mix of personal work, vintage art, and watercolors from Italy. Stay tuned for another blogpost coming soon that will be a complete guide full of sources for creating your own gallery!

We pulled some colors from this rug and added some more pillows to the bench for a little bit more color and love how it all tied together, especially with the art gallery!

This chocolate velvet pillow with linen back is so good! It also has a zipper for removing to clean which is so important when sourcing pillows!

Olive branches are a good idea all year round 😉

And here is a look at the other side of the room where we added a Tilt My Smart Roller Shade along with our curtains…
