Hard to believe it has already been one year since we transformed our pantry! Last month, we made a couple of changes by adding a shelf for our Berkey Water Filter System and an extra curtain for more hidden storage (which is mainly hiding cutting boards, extra flours and cookbooks).

Here is how it looked before we added the extra shelf and curtain…
And here is an actual before photo of the pantry, which you can read more about here.
We also switched out the artwork for a smaller painting by Jess Blazejewski and I love how perfect it looks in here.
We talked a lot about our Berkey Water Filter System in stories on Instagram but we have been so happy with it- we have well water here and it has been so nice being able to safely fill up and drink the water available to us instead of buying bottled water.
Our Berkey is what inspired this little pantry update- after Justin set up the water filter system, we did have it sitting on a stool in here for a month or so, and while that worked, I wanted something that looked more permanent and intentional. I came up with the idea to add a shelf and Justin built it pretty quick. I love the additional hidden storage the shelf provides and honestly makes this little corner pantry feel bigger.
In that covered bowl are homemade English Muffins that I make every week for our family- the process is so simple and rewarding… I look forward to making them (and eating them for breakfast or lunch) every week! I store them in this bowl with cotton bowl covers!
These net bags are a fun way to store produce like fruits and potatoes…
Here are a few of my favorite things in our pantry…
